DADGUIDE (“DADGUIDE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an AI-powered parenting app built for fathers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at dadguide.app and our waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We don't sell your personal information. This policy covers our website and waitlist. Once the DADGUIDE mobile app is available, it will come with its own in-app privacy notice covering app-specific data such as journal entries, photos, and milestone tracking — we'll link to it here when that happens.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you join the waitlist, we ask for:

• Your first name
• Your email address
• Your country
• Where you are in your fatherhood journey (expecting, or your child's approximate age)

If you contact us directly (for example, by emailing hello@dadguide.app), we collect whatever information you choose to share with us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically collect some information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and general usage patterns. If you arrive from an ad or campaign link, we also capture the associated campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, and campaign) so we know what's working.

Email Communications

When you join the waitlist, we send a welcome email and, afterward, occasional updates about early access and major product news — we keep this to things a dad would actually want to read, not a weekly newsletter. These emails are sent through our provider, Resend.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out any time by emailing hello@dadguide.app.

How We Share Information

We don't sell your personal information, and we only share it with the service providers that help us run DADGUIDE, and only for that purpose:

• Supabase— hosts our waitlist database
• Resend— delivers our transactional and waitlist emails
• Google Analytics, Meta, and Hotjar— the analytics and advertising tools described above

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we'll let you know.

Data Retention

We keep waitlist information for as long as you remain on the waitlist, and for a reasonable period after launch so we can honor early-access commitments. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we're required to keep it longer for legal reasons.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access-controlled infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time
• Object to or restrict certain processing

Children's Privacy

Our website and waitlist are intended for parents and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our site. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

International Users

DADGUIDE and our service providers operate primarily in the United States. If you use our site from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US or other countries with different data protection laws than your own.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as DADGUIDE grows — especially as we get closer to launching the app. If we make material changes, we'll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
